Graphic Designer 5+ years

I originally got started in the print and advertising field working at a small design company located in Staten Island, NY, as I got older my skills expanded and I became a freelancer and developed skills towards motion graphics and 3d, as well as further my knowledge and skills for print designing and mix media. Currently I have 5 years of being an active member of the design community.

At this point in my career, I’ve work for and design magazines, print companies, electronic press kits, websites, music videos and much more. I decided to progress my skills constantly and live my life enjoying art and trying as much as I can to create for the next generation as well as the current for them to appreciate. I've lived and worked in NY, FL, France, and currently located in Korea.

I'm sorry to say this but, I can atleast take confort in knowing I'm not the the first and will not be the last to say this, but DeviantArt one of the greatest Art Community sites and one of my favorite sites of all time ... is slowly losing the factors that made it a art site...

Fans of the theme not the piece
I've seen alot of amazing pieces on this site and unfortunately, seen more people get recognized with followers and favorites if they do a few anime fan pieces (aka draw the person for about a hour scan it and upload)

Free?? I must have it!!!
Another thing is that more people are using this site for just resources. With a legion of empty profile (Definition: a profile made quickly so that person can download a psd or brush set) it puts into question "How many active profiles are actually watching you?" .
Example of: I looked at my page views for some of my art ...

has the most page views, with 5k views and 1k download

THEN
Loose as a goose a free psd I gave away

has almost 15k views /almost 6k download

AND IF A ANOTHER PERSON ASK ME FOR THE PASSWORD FOR IT... I WILL REMOVE IT... READ THE COMMENT ON IT
